    I feel very shocked by this news, it's so very sad. I didn't know Joan personally but from what people are saying here, it is clear that Joan epitomised what this website is all about. Being part of this community, I feel like I have lost a friend. My heart really goes out to anyone touched by Joan's passing away.

    As others have previously said, I also did not know Joan but she sounds like a wonderful lady who helped many others through tough times. Wherever you are Joan, RIP. Sending hugs and prayers to your family. xx

    I was very lucky to have met joan through no panic she helped me at the most difficult times and for this joan I thank you. I am still shocked and deeply sadden. Joan has touched so many peoples lives our loss is heavens gain. I will miss our chats and emails. My thoughts and prayers are to her family. Joan, I was so lucky to have u as a friend may u rest in peace all my love bev xxx
