I feel very shocked by this news, it's so very sad. I didn't know Joan personally but from what people are saying here, it is clear that Joan epitomised what this website is all about. Being part of this community, I feel like I have lost a friend. My heart really goes out to anyone touched by Joan's passing away.

I was very lucky to have met joan through no panic she helped me at the most difficult times and for this joan I thank you. I am still shocked and deeply sadden.
