Very Scary Dream!

Hi guys.

Am posting to see if anyone else has had this happen to them, I had a really scary dream/nightmare last night that I was being strangled and it was my friend strangling me in the dream! Have never had a dream like that before and it scared the s*** out of me, it was really weird I felt like I couldn't wake up its hard to explain. Has anyone else had this happen to them? And how have you dealt with it? Because I am now scared to go to sleep later incase I have another dream like that. This may sound a bit silly but can you die in your sleep if you have a dream of someone strangling you?

Hi Lucy Annie,

Hope I wasnt the friend trying to strangle you lol. The chances of you having another dream like that hun are very slim. Try to forget about it easier said than done I know and no I don't think its possible to die in your sleep because your dreaming someone is strangling you. Before you go to bed tonight wind yourself down by having a nice relaxing bath.

i had one where a friend slit my throat it was a couple of weeks ago and not had it since
chances of you having dream again are rare and dreams wont kill you

Hi scooby,I have dreams like this and I think the medication is to blame sometimes.They affect me the next day,cant get them out of my head.But at the end of the day they are only dreams!!!!You wont die from having a bad dream.Try not to worry about going to sleep,like Mandy said have a nice relaxing bath and a nice warm drink before bed time.

Thanks for your replies. I am not on any medication either though Ellen so don't know why I had a dream like that and why was my friend strangling me? Its freaked me out.

The other night I had a dream I was being chased by

A Tyrannasaurus Rex!! I am not joking I thinK I even told trac !

Well this thing did not want to eat me it wanted to play with me, I woke up totally freaked by it, trust me dream can be weird buggers but they are harmless if you ever have one again there are some sites on the net that can interpret your dreams.
