I will be there tonight, I make sure my brain in gear. and a drink (not a booze drink or soda) even though I am older enough to drink. I don't drink booze, as for soda too warm/hot.

Okay, the Maths question was:

ALEX AND LISA AGREE TO SPLIT £50 BETWEEN THEM, SO THAT LISA GETS THREE TIMES AS MUCH MONEY AS ALEX. HOW MUCH DOES ALEX GET?

This is a ratio question - we are splitting the money in the ratio of 3:1 as Lisa gets three times as much as Alex. To solve it, we add the ratios (3 + 1 = 4) and divide the original amount by the answer (£50 / 4 = £12.50)

We then multiply this amount by the original ratios to find out what they both get:

Lisa gets 3 x £12.50 = £37.50 and Alex gets 1 x £12.50 = £12.50

So the answer is £12.50
