Some of these are age-related, but they seem to be getting more frequent now I'm on Prozac! Although I'm glad to see that I am not the ONLY person who always sings along to Bohemian Rhapsody: "Spare him his life from these pork sausages..."

Ok so yesterday I was playing 'Win a Million', and misread a question as, "Which girl band included, Posh, Baby and Porky Spice?"

And just now I was listening to a news report on "The one-hundred and forty second Open Golf Championship" and GENUINELY thought, "How do they play so quickly?"

These days I think I'm a little hard of hearing, so I do mishear things, especially on the phone when I can't see the person who's speaking.
