Thread: constant worry there is something wrong

Thumbs down constant worry there is something wrong

I had my second child 5 months ago and was feeling great until a week ago I got a throat infection and have now completely convinced myself I have lymph node cancer. My dr who was a cancer specialist has assured me my nodes are not swollen and expkained they would be large and protruding everywhere but I just can't shake this feeling of dread. A year ago I had therapy for health anxiety and I have been doing so well but now the exercises and things I was taught arent helping.

could it be postnatal depression creeping in? speak to your dr ADs might help you i think having children is always a worry as its i hope i can be there for them growing up, try not to worry yourself, address the HA though it would help to get some meds blessings

I'm not sure about postnatal as I don't seem to fit the general criteria for that and its onky just come on now but I guess it could. I'm terrified of not being there for my kids, I guess all mums are the same I just can't seem to control my anxietys. Trying to avoid anti depressants. Thinking of therapy again but not sure nhs give you more than one go and I feel ridiculous, why can't I just enjoy life.
