Anyone seen oral surgeon?

Have appt with oral surgeon tomorrow. Anyone been? Don't know what to expect and very scared. Possibly TMJ. Would appreciate anyone's experience. Thanks. HA through the roof. Teeth killing me. Very phobic ... Can't even visit people in hospitals.

not been to an oral surgeon but i am very well aquainted with tooth ache and problems of which i have had many issues, i would not have thought they would do anything tomorrow just look and talk to you, they would discuss what they would do prior to doing it, i know its a worry but it can not be any worse than having painfull teeth which make me want to cut my own head off, so you will be fine, take some deep breaths and you will be ok, blessings

Thanks Aggie ... Just got back. Diagnosed with TMJ, told to relax - if only. Gum shield to be made. No x-rays. Hard to believe these months of tooth etc pain is caused by stress!
