New here it's been 6 weeks

Hi I have been reading your posts for a while and have been brave enough to post myself so here goes

I've been on mitzapine for 6 weeks or so now 45mg I dont know if they are helpping I've put on about 2stone and really need to see the dr about changing or coming off them I am tired and still lots of constant worrying any advice much appreciated x

Hi & welcome Glad you were brave enough to post - I'm sure you'll be happy you did, there are loads of great people on here.

I can't help with the meds though, as I've never had anything other than diazepam (so far!) and CBT.

A lot of people seem to put on weight taking Mirtazapine, myself included, if it is making you unhappy, speak to your doctor about it, perhaps you could change your medication.
