Hi I had to stop cold turkey from 100mg, I did this whilst on holiday...I had dizzy spaced out spells few headaches & mad dreams but nothing terrible an other than felt fine....on plane home got incredible anxiety irritability & felt very tearful, put it down to flying....however being home gradually increased anxiety, catching breath & panic, irribatle, tearful, itchy, but this is two weeks on should I stick with it or is me realising I need the sertraline again?

Hi it sounds like your defiantly in withdrawal, you really shouldn't stop cold turkey as this is what happens, i did exactly the same with citalopram 2 years ago and within a month id hit rock bottom again with severe anxiety and panic, id suggest going back on and then if you really want to stop taper off very slowly x x

Thank you, I lost my tablets stupid & felt in good place & thought I could give them up, an as all was going well thought that perhaps I felt better but clearly not! In tears over nothing as I write this!!!

Ring your docs up and ask for an emergency prescription, don't leave it any longer or it will be hard to restart them, the sooner the better, hope you feel better soon x x
