Hello, at last I have found help again

Hi everyone, my name is Dave, I am 54 and live in Southampton and have been a sufferer of anxiety and stress since I was 18. I have been lost for support for 25 years, when I used to be a member of a local meeting group called TRANSX. It sure is good to know I have finally found some friends again.

I am currently taking 6 - 5mg Diazepam and 4 - 192mg Heminevrin daily, at least, that is what I try to keep to!

My main problem in life is Driving. I go into a panic at the thought of driving on the motorway, in case it is blocked and get very edgy at every Red Traffic Light or any slow traffic. I just want to get out and away and get to work/home as soon as possible.

I really have missed the friendship of a group like this and now look forward to the future.

Hi Dave,
I am new here too. Also take diazepam and have that problem at red lights! I hope you find the help & support you need here. I certainly have and only registered this week. It's a great place to be even to know others are feeling exactly as you do and you realise you are not actually mad at all!!
