Chlorpromazine

From today, this has been the latest effort prescribed to calm my anxiety (2 x 25mg per day, rising to 2 x 25mg twice per day after a week).

Anyone any experience of this?

Hi ive only just joined im on venlalic and have got take 4, 5mg spoonfuls of promazine a day, if i need too, have you started it yet?

I have now been on it for nearly 3 weeks, the first week 1 x 25mg, twice per day, and, since then, 2 x 25mg per day.

The only thing that seems different to me is that it has my head spinning when when I get-up or stand-up. Several times, I have had to stop and hold-onto something, the other time I collapsed (thankfully not painfully).

They were prescribed by a psychiatrist, though this had to be signed-off by a GP, so will discuss same with him today (along with sleeping pills to counteract citalopram insomnia).
