started 10mg today but to much for me?!

Hello all,

So today i took my first dose of propanolol (for general/ social anxiety) the dr gave me the 10 mg tablets.

For the majority of the day- whilst I was relaxing I have felt wonderful, very chilled and generally a happier person, but later this evening I have been feeling... dizzy- sort of off kilter as it were - no other issues, just really quite dizzy like im drunk!

Would cutting the pill in half tomorrow to try 5mg be ok? I know its a small dose but I am really very tiny and slim (7.10 stone) and tend to react to medications pretty well (ie they affect me with full force!!) so I think 10 mg might be a little too much for me personally?

my advice would to speak to your doctor before doing anything and its early days

from speaking to my GP about the right dosage for me, 10mg is very little. if you took 10mg in the morning it is very likely that it would be out of your system by the evening so it may not be the effects of the medication you were feeling. but as above, speak with your GP beofre doing anything
