    period for 2.5 weeks!

    hi

I started my period on the 1 september and i am still bleeding now. It went from a normal 3 day bleed to almost finish then to brown then to a yellowish brown Then the last couple of days has been like a pinkish colour. Its not loads mostly when i wipe after a wee. I dont need a sanitary towel only a liner ( sorry so much detail) I do usually have a mid cycle bleed for about 3/4days so im wondering whether ive gone straight to my mid cycle time. I am 47 my periods have changed from a 34 day cycle to a 28/26 cycle and they have got shorter periods except for this month.

I looked this up on the internet and it says symtoms of overian or cervical cancer. I am beginning to get in a state now.

There is no smell, i dont have any sort of fever or anything.

I would say it sounds very much like the menopause. I had periods lasting 3 weeks. It is best to check with your doctor though.
