Very scared - advice please!

I have been experiencing pains in my lower chest (centre) and upper back since Saturday night. This has gradually got worse over the past 24 hours and is very uncomfortable now.

I did a symptom checker on the NHS website and the result was to call 999 straight away *instant panic mode* I have NOT googled!

The thing is I have also had pins & needles in my left arm and hand on & off for the past couple of weeks too - my GP said it was from a nerve in my neck??

I am home alone and tbh I really don't know what to do for the best...obviously the anxiety is now making me feel worse and my mind is telling me all sorts of things I don't want to hear....

Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you, Kitti x

I get pain in the centre of my chest its uncomfortable also pins and needles in both of my hands, Iv been to my gp he said its my anxiety ,If your worried tho it be worth getting it checked im sure you be ok ,I find im always worse when im on my own to much time to think take care

Aww kittikat poor you hun, it's horrible to have pain and then to have to deal with anxiety on top of it.

I sometimes get pain in the top mid centre of my back, it's a burning type pain and my doctor said it's acid indigestion, so I don't know if maybe you've got something similar hun??

But to be sure, I would ring or go and see your doctor just to have it checked, that will put your mind at rest and double check that all is well.

My rational mind is telling me you are right but the pains I have now I have not experienced like this before...this is why I am feeling so worried.

I have become less anxious now but the pains are still there :(

I will maybe leave it a while, take a diazepam and see how I go.

how did you get in re did u call docs or has it vanished now
