I'm posting about ibs because I have it & have had it since 1987. It's not a severe case thank God , but when I have a flare up I begin catastrophizing out of panic. I start thinking of cancer or some other horrible consequence of flare up. This is due to my anxiety. I can't control this. My fears just take over my thinking. My fears run away with me. Does anyone else have this problem . I appreciate any feedback.
