Hi

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
Not sure about co-codamol as I have never used it but I take diazepam and have had no problems with painkillers before.
I usually take paracetamol, panadol or ibuprofen and those are all fine. you may find that you are a little more tired to begin with but that will be the diazepam.
Good luck, hope your back pain eases soon. Kitti

OTC Co-codamol contains Paracetamol and around 8mg of Codeine. There is an interaction between the Diazepam and Codeine.
Codeine is a weak opiate and a 'downer'. Diazepam is also a 'downer'. Mixing 'downers' should be done with caution although the doses here are low and should be fine as both my Doctor and Pharmacist said.
Alcohol is also a 'downer' or depressant and the combo of alcohol and either the two drugs above should be done with caution. Mixing the three would probably not be a good idea.
Combining downers or depressants can lead to respiratory depression but the doses you say you have been prescribed should be fine, plus you had them prescribed so that should ease your mind?
