    2 weeks on 100mg sertraline

    Hi
I would appreciate some advice please! Two months ago I switched from Venlaflaxine to Sertraline because of high blood pressure. After 6 weeks on 50mg my doctor increased my dose of Sertraline to 100mgs 2 weeks ago. I am still getting increased anxiety & wonder if anyone has still had this 2 weeks after increasing their dose. I am unsure whether to continue at 100mg or to see my doctor aboout raising my dosage or even switching meds.

Took about 8 weeks on 100mgs before I saw a difference. Was worthwhile sticking it out for me.On about 3 months now and every week I can notice an improvement.2 weeks is early days still.Hopefully it settles down soon.I also only increased at 25mgs a time.So maybe thats what made it a bit easier.good luck.

Thanks Greg - its very easy to feel its not working when you get these side effects and it helps to know others have had this and felt better.
