    IBS?

Jings, I have actually forgotten how to use the forum, It's been
    sooooooooooo long. Lol....

Anyhooo I was looking for a wee bit of advice. I've been good
and not consulted Dr Google. Instead, I thought i'd ask you guys
for your advice as I know may here do suffer from IBS.

Obviously I have absolutely no idea if this is what I have been
suffering with but if anyone can throw any light on my symptoms
then it would be very much appreciated.

I have been having what I can only describe as 'bout' of the
    following.

    Very bloated abdoman.
    Lots of abdominal discomfort/pain.
Abdominal gurgling which can at times ease the discomfort.
Pain and discomfort can also ease by going to the loo.
Wind from both ends. Sorry TMI. lol
    Frequent visits to the loo.

In a way I would prefer this was IBS as it's kinda kicked my HA
off after a few years break and my mind is imagining all sorts.

    Ok I'll shush now. Lol

    Any advice appreciated.

    Love Lisa
    xx

Thanks you ladies. It's bloomin awful and so restricting. I always imagined IBS to effect the lower abdomen not upper too and the pain and discomfort is scary. I appreciated your replies.

Lisa it is worth seeing the doc though as IBS is diagnosed after ruling out other possible reasons and your doc may want some routine blood tests etc

    Me too, Lisa.

Mine started as you say in my lower abdomen, left side, next to my belly button. Like a nagging pain, and was always in the same place, but the flare up I had in May was totally different. Much higher up, and under my ribs too.

    Very odd.x

It definitely varies with me too Debs. Sometimes it's a niggle but this past few
days has been so full on. I felt like I was 15 months pregnant and the pain
and discomfort has been horrendous. It calmed down after a few hours and
then came back slightly. Think I will have to visit the doc like Nic says. Lol
