has anyone taken omeprazole?

Hiya

I was given this by my doctor yesterday who thinks I may have a stomach ulcer. I'm very anxious about taking medication, even paracetemol, and I find whenever I take anything I start to feel ill and I think it's a reverse placebo affect in my case because I'm so worried about taking medication!

I've taken my first pill today. Not sure if I can start to drink my cup of tea yet or if I should wait. Just wanted to know if anyone has taken this before and if it caused them any side effects?

Same here! Well, I didnt have heartburn but it helped with other reflux problems

I have spells when I could not sleep without it, as it is the only thing which controls my acid reflux. Never had any side effects
