    Seroquel and weight gain

Lately I have found out that I have put on five kgs. My doctor says that I am not overweight but I feel like I am heading that way.

I'm wondering if it the seroquel I take before going to bed that makes me put on weight cos I find I am more relaxed and hungry than my normal self.

I was thinking of coming off it and my doctor doesnt mind as it was mainly for sleeping and helping my mind relax.

Has anyone ever had this problem with seroquel? I know the fluoxetine doesnt change my eating habits alone but with the seroquel I think it does.

    Thanks for that

I think I might stop it as Im only using it for sleep. My doctor thinks it is best if I try and wean myself off it too. Especially since I have no study and work at the moment.

If I dont sleep one night then I will definitely catch up the next night lol
