lymph node in my jaw

Ive had a lymph node up in my jaw for a week or so and its starting to play on my mind. It moves about pea sized and its kind of tender. I think its just the one cant be sure. Im really starting to get worried by it now xx is it normal?!

I don't know if this is common, but various lymph nodes in my neck/jaw do go up when I have a particularly nasty mouth ulcer so it might be that. There are also an absolutely shedload of icky cold-type viruses around, so you might be fighting off a low-level one of those. I'm not a doc, obviously, but don't 'they' usually say that if it's painful/tender, it's most likely caused by an infection?
