1. Went out with friends even though I'm full of cold
2. Had a driving lesson and managed a hill start without panicking
3. Got on public transport with no flapping about

1. Dragged myself out of bed to go to work (sleep was the more tempting option )
2. Worked hard to make the day pass quickly & then was pleasantly surprised when the boss said we could go early!
3. Made the most of an early finish & went for a walk.

(Yesterday)
1. Went for my first proper CBT session (and felt fine)
2. Managed to stop some panic from bubbling up by using breathing and relaxation ('Come and do your worst, you git !')
Today
1. Stayed in my onesie all day because I wanted to
2. Cleaned the kitchen
3. Caught up with all of my recorded stuff on the Sky box
4. I have a bad cough at the moment - haven't dwelled once on the 'odd' sensations that it's giving me ::shrugs::
I went swimming
Was going to take something back to NEXT but couldn't because the roads were too busy
Cooked a yummy lasagne for the family and a veggie one for me
Going to catchup with the programme I missed on TV last night.
got up & at it... into town early to do some bits.
came home & did a little tidying in the garden (gardening is fun).
then cleaned the bath, basin & sink (I hate housework so was quite pleased about this)
Yesterday I blitzed the flat then my husband and I walked into town. Had a lovely time, sorted our insurances out and ended up buying five books between us! I managed to write 1000 words for my novel before his brother came over.
Today I've felt naff all day. I tried to pick myself up by doing the ironing, washing, gardening (which killed me) and some relaxation. Despite the lovely weather and active housework I feel low still.

Magic
magic, I don't know why it is always so hard for us to do chores or little tasks especially for ourselves.
but when we are able to do that..... it is most definitely something to be proud of. not only have we achieved something but we had to batter down our negative thoughts to do so.
I try to remember that often the little things I manage to do (even including something like taking a bath) are all an important part of keeping on going when it would be so easy just to "not do it this time". so, sometimes I would indeed put "taking a bath" as being an achievement. even putting something away I have just used could be on my list. in point of fact, I had a little tidy up in our study today. it looks much better than it did this morning, much better.
