I'm not scared at the moment and think I will manage but I know as soon as I am in there I will panic like crazy.

I have emetophobia (fear of vomiting) and am scared of being sick or gagging as I know it often leads to vomiting. I have asked for sedation but have heard stories that sometimes it doesn't work and people end up having panic attacks?! OMG. My mum is taking me and I don't want to embarrass her or anything. :( Since I'm having sedation, how long will I be in there for?

I had one with sedation and cannot remember anything about it until I woke in bed being given a cup of tea. I think I was only in for a couple of hours.
