Have had a dull ache under my left rib at the back since 13 December. Went to docs a week later. Doctor listened to my chest ( I am a smoker) and felt tummy area which were both clear at the time also took a urine sample which was ok. Over xmas felt unwell and eventually had a bad cold. Been coughing up phlemgh which is now clearing but still the dull ache remains. I am so frightened and know I shouldn't but have been googling my symptoms. Is my panic disorder and anxiety contributing to the pain? Or could it be menopausal? I am 50 years old. Can anyone put my mind at rest? Really worried about going to doctors .
