My problem is I am very shy and have low self esteem. Iv had anxiety in the past but I'm on herball medication and I'm getting through the worst of it. But the main problem is the lasting effect its had on my social life. I don't have many friends and the ones I do live far away, and it doesn't help that I have kept moving around chasing relationships- trying to compensate my social life with boyfriends.
Sometimes I will go to the pub with strangers( in hope of making new friends) and end up drinking too much and making an idiot of myself- not great for first impressions! Although I'm interested in psychology as a subject, I personal feel like no one understands me, and I in return don't understand them.
