Lexapro

Anybody here using Lexapro/Cipralex with some positive things to say about it. I'm only on my second day and whilst it's already lifted my mood I am feeling quite edgy and wierd. I need encouragement to stick this out and reap any benefits it may give me after this difficult initial period. Thanks.

Well I've decided I'm gonna stop taking these right now. I do not like what it is doing to me generally. I am totally anxious and jittery and I simply do not trust what this med is doing to me. I know I'm only 2 days into it and thats hardly time enough to tell whether it would be ok in the long run but if this stuff is having this kind of effect on being introduced to my body I dread what the experience of coming off it will be like. It's a shame because I feel my depression has lifted somewhat already but I'm just not able for these side effects.

I've been on it for 12 mths now. best thing that ever happened but the first coupla weeks were a bit rough.
Get off 'em? No way. I feel normal at last.
