    OCD about sleep?

I have been seeing a therapist around 3 months regarding my sleep obsession. Anyway she feels I do not have a sleep disorder or GAD and she feel its OCD. The obsession being sleep and the compulsion to take every kind of sleep aid I can get my hands on. She feels I may benefit from taking a medication more specific to OCD rather than the amitriptyline I am on. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? Thanks in advance

OCD comes in many forms, and it may well be that this is more OCD that General Anxiety. If that is the case then what your Therapist has suggested may be worth a try. Perhaps talk it over with your GP!!

Thanks you. The GAD Diagnosis has always bot felt right to me. I had great success with citalopram the first time round. I quit too early I thonk and the second time round it did nothing for me. I have an appointment friday and may ask to give luvox a try. Thanks for replying
