My mum has been diagnosed with early stage vascular dementia. This was on Friday. I am devastated. I thought she might have it, but it was a shock when she got the diagnosis.I am finding it hard to write this post because I am so upset. I live with my parents, I don't have any friends who live close to me, I just wish their was someone I could talk to.

Thank you so much for all your kind words. I'm scared because I don't know what the future will hold or how fast the dementia will progress.
