vaginal dryness

for about three months now I have noticed I am so dry in the vulva area. It is so uncomfortable. It feel sore and irritated. I have had to stop riding my bike. Sex is uncomfortable too. I have tried ky gel but that sort of burns.
I have had thrush as well which i think the dyness has caused i took a pill and used the cream and the thrush has gone. But still got this terrible dry feeling. I cant use soap of any kind that makes it unbearable. Even when i wipe after a wee it feels sore and dry. Anybody else suffered with this. I do think im peri/menopaual as my periods are a little messed up. I also keep crying for nothing at all. Then feeling really angry. Not sleeping very well at times either.

This sometimes happens during the menopause. Speak to your doctor about it and he could test your hormone levels and maybe prescribe a gel which will help if he thinks you need it.
