Another newbie ...

Hi All

I come here, by recommendation from my ex-girlfriend. I'm 38 and in Sussex, and am currently struggling with low self-esteem and depression, truth be told not just currently either ....

Simple version of my life: Did very well at school/college, went downhill a little and scraped uni in an engineering degree. Now in my third 'professional' position having been made redundant twice.

In my personal life, I've had three long-term relationships with women since aged 19 and one recent shorter one. I'm an only child, I never knew my dad and my mum died at 53 from lymphoma. My grandparents brought me up from aged 4 and my grandad died in a hit-n-run when I was 14. Now I'm 140 miles away from what is left of my family.

I'd best leave it at that and go talk about my issues in another location, good to meet you all
