Unhappy Haven't posted in a while..

Hello! I have been feeling fine for like 2 weeks now but I have had this weird problem for about 8 months. I can feel my pulse/heartbeat in my back and on the back of my head. It has been bothering me a lot but I still havent thought much about it. Well now I googled it and ofc I found scary answers about some blood stream blockage like a possible tumor in the brain area etc.. What else could cause this? I can't sleep on my back anymore :(

Tinnitus can be a symptom of anxiety I believe. I get a random ringing in my ear which maybe lasts for 5 to 10 seconds and then stops. As for the pulse, I think that when we are anxious we become really tuned in to any strange feelings, I could feel my pulse in my side the other night when I was lying in bed, very random but stopped when I moved. Have you been to see a doctor with your concerns? Xx

It sounds like pulsatile tinnitus. I was diagnosed with this a couple of years ago. I worked myself up into complete hysteria and thought I was dying. It was all down to anxiety. I saw a specialist who helped me to realise this and she advised me that white noise would help. She gave me what was a little piece like a hearing aid and it played white noise gently into my ear. I only use it very occasionally now and I think that's because after years of suffering with it I accepted it was anxiety related. Ask to be referred to an ENT specialist so you can put your mind at rest. I hope this helps x
