So was on cymbalta for two months and when seroquel was added I got better, it was like a light switched on. Have been on this combo 8 months however anxiety has returned this week and have been prescribed .5mg xanax twice a day until I see my pdoc tuesday. Just wondering can seroquel dose be increased? Thanks its generalised anxiety disorder i have. I've three small children to look after on my own just want this episode to go

Hi,

Seroquel can be administered in different dosages as far as I know but it's used along side anti-depressants when treating major depressive disorder.

You could try looking on the medication boards.

If it's not mentioned, it would be best to discuss it further with your doctor - it seems an unusual combination for GAD. Was it due to the side effects of going onto Cymbalta?

Hey thanks for reply it was added to cymbalta when that wasn't being as effective as it should be. It has been fantastic combination for my gad and mdd.
