Stop breathing when falling asleep

I know this is fairly common amongst us anxiety sufferers when anxious or stressed..but over the last two nights including tonight it's been happening a lot..I don't mean 2 or 3 times I mean around 8 or more times a night.. its started to annoy me more than anything right now because it's affecting my sleep and the way I am during the day
I don't think it is sleep apnea... I'm not overweight either

I had this for about 2 nights in a row last week.. it went away and I haven't had it since. Thankfully! I'm not sure if we actually stop breathing or we just think we do. Either way i can relate to you.

I had it yesterday whilst watching tv it was horrid!!! I feel better now its morning and ive haf some sleep

RVP... yes it is common with anxiety..happens to me all the time... you FONT stop breathing its called Hypnogogic Jerk (wrong spelling) but look it up... you will see how common it is.
