Can being really anxious and stressed cause this? I lost a bit too much weight but over the past 6 weeks have gained it back and am sleeping better to an extent.
Has anyone had this? I'm 18 and it used to always be very regular.

Can stress and anxiety cause your periods to be irregular? Absolutely. After a bereavement, mine went away for months.
No harm in checking in with your doc to see what they have to say about it, just to put your mind at rest, as worrying about it will only add to the problem xx

Weight loss can definitely change your cycle. Although you have gained some back, it might take a little bit to get regular again.

Periods are crazy! They can stop for no reason to be fair but stress and anxiety definitely interrupts them, I've had problems off and on for years with them but when I spoke to my gp there's nothing they can really do as long as you're having about 3 periods a year, or they could discuss the pill which obviously protects you from conceiving but it also helps to regulate things. Hope you get sorted soon but honestly don't worry
