I encourage anyone who's struggling with their doctor to take your health into your own hands. You can always start by checking reviews at www.RateMDs.com. And don't forget to leave a positive review for the doctors you appreciate! FYI: Here are some tips on writing an online review of your doctors: http://abt.cm/1lZUdaF
On another note. Does anyone get up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and feel `not too bad` considering then when you are aware of your stomach it plays up?
On another note, poor posture can also cause respiratory symptoms for anxiety disorder sufferers so its sounds like a win on many fronts if you correct it.
Alexander Technique is supposed to be useful for sitting & standing postures. Obviously, anything like yoga or pilates is going to help a lot.
I have terrible posture and I'm sure it contributes to 90% of my anxiety symptoms. Things like breathing trouble from being hunched over and chest breathing, pains and sensations in the legs and feet from pinching nerves, stiff neck and back in constant pain, and daily abdominal pain from maybe sitting squashed up against a desk.
Humans aren't designed to just sit hunched over all the time.
