My kittens eyes!

Just today my kittens eyes look a bit fun, there is eye boogies in the corners and i think they look a bit swollen, is this normal for a baby kitten? he is 8 weeks now! Everything else seems fine, hes not clawing at his eyes with his paws, not sneezing or anything.....

Get some cold weak tea and clean them gently with cotton wool and see how that goes.
Probably grass reaction.

One of my cats often gets a little bit of discharge in the corner of his eye and I just clean it with a piece of damp cotton wool. If the kitten starts to paw at it or it gets imfamed you will need to see the vet for some eye drops.

They do look a bit irritated. Have you taken him to the vet for his physical? New babies should always get their first check up.

You mustn't say that, Eve - your big eyes are gorgeous in the photo! Anyway... you have to take the baby in for his first shots now to the vet so he doesn't get rabies or worms or something, okay? ASAP. The vet will look at his eyes, and if he figures he could benefit from some drops or something, he will do it then. Don't worry! But do go in, you don't want anything down the road. I know it costs money, but it must be done. xxxx

Looks like the third eyelid is showing.

A vet check would be a good idea if he hasnt already been.

his check up isn't until Friday, should i rush it? and what is a 3rd eyelid? is that bad? Aww im worried about him
