st johns wort

hi
i don,t know wether st johns wort has any side effects or not(seeing as its herbal!!!)but since i,ve been taking it(3 weeks now)i,ve had a headache nearly everyday!!!!!!!!!!
its not like i have to take painkillers but i know its there!!!!
didn,t know wether anyone else has had side effects while they have been on herbal meds

Hi,
I took St Johns Wort a few years ago and I don't remember any side effects. Thats not to say there isn't any.
I do remember when I first took them though, I was told to take three a day. So I did. No-one said not to take them all at the same time!
I was very happy for a few hours and then very tired.
On saying that, there is different strengths and I believe you do get some where you can take more than one at a time.

Hi, yes headaches can be a side effect from SJW but they should soon go. You may need to mess around with your dosage and the time that you take it to get the desired effect. Check out this website it has everything you need to know especially the forum section. FLOYD
