Day 33 on cipralex :(

Decided not to take my meds last night as I am changing to taking them in the morning to see if it helps me sleep and it did I woke up once but went straight back to sleep.
Woke up feeling better than I ever have this morning hardly any anxiety, took my tablet and got the lump in my throat feeling , burning and anxiety in my chest all day, followed with feelings of waves of depression.
I just want my life back , not sure how long it will take to feel good/normal again.
Just feel so depressed, unwell and fed up :(

The above post was three days ago, can't believe the difference in my mood change.
So glad I stuck with the medication, first time in 7 weeks I am looking forward to tomorrow.
No depression, anxiety this evening and had lots of energy, tidied my 3 sheds where as yesterday it was an effort to even feed the cat..very strange how your mood changes so quickly

Yes, but isn't great when it changes for the better? Hold onto that when the not so great times come. It always gets better.

Hi Booboo,

I usually take 10mg per day but when I go through these blips I up to 12.5 mg and know that I can go up to 15mg if needed. Haven't needed that to date. The extra 2.5 settles things down for me in a few daysand once I've been settled for a could of weeks, I go back to 10mg. Might not be my doc's preferred method but it works for me. Keep in mind, we're all individual. Hope you're feeling better today!

I was on Pozac...but after eight weeks on it... it did nothing for my anxieties... so doc switched me to Cipralex....reading positive posts, helps... I have this fear of trying new meds...as I hate side effects. So once im off the prozac..im tapering off of it... then I hope I am brave enough to try the Cipralex
