    Day 2- 22.5mg

Bit anxious this morning but mainly anxious about the taper and anticipating withdrawal symptoms that I never actually get anyway! Being at work during this taper is the best thing as keeps my mind away from it all so I don't worry about it constantly.

Yeah its going well. I feel like the job is helping me more than mirtazapine ever really was. I had a tough day at work today- I work in a call centre and had a terrible argumentative customer but overall its going well. I've in the last few hours developed a bit of a headache, unsure I'd that's the taper down to 22.5mg or just normality of a stressful day! Lol

Well done . You sound totally in control of your withdrawal and it's great that the new job has come along at the right time and is proving to be therapeutic and also a huge distraction from your concerns. I hope your little boy is ok too

Not going to lie. Felt a bit naff this morning but nothing I've not dealt with before. Had a weird headache again most of the day. Slightly achey/ waves of sickness but nothing horrendous! Will push through it though.

I don't think you should focus too much on random irritating feelings. Who knows, they may not even be related to the tapering anyway so I would suggest trying not to be too vigilant as regards how you are feeling. I know that's far from easy but you are being very strong and determined about this and I really admire your attitude.

That's the issue with being an anxiety sufferer though, trying not to focus on it is very difficult. Thanks though I'm no worse than when I was on 45mg so I'm just confident that I will come through once I'm off Mirtazapine x

Yes I know it's all very well for me to say that but I really do know how difficult it is not to listen to negative mind chatter, believe me! It is mentally exhausting and extremely challenging having to ignore anxiety symptoms constantly throughout the day that's why I admire your positive attitude so much.
