Brown when wiping - not period

Last night when I was on the toilet, I wiped (vagina) and there was brown blood or discharge on toilet paper. I had my period 2-3 weeks ago.

Last week I had a pregnancy test at docs which was negative and also my smear (results not back yet).

I'm panicking about what it could be!

Brown blood is old blood so it could be from your last period.

Could it just be as simple as that? My period was 2-3 weeks ago so a wee while ago now. Not expecting next for 2 weeks.

It sometimes happens If it continues you could ask your doctor just for peace of mind but it can and does happen to a lot of women.

So I don't need to freak out and rush to my doc?

No I wouldnt worry unless it gets more frequent then maybe you should get it checked out.
