Post-Surgery Side effects?

I had my Open excision surgery on my pilonidal cyst this morning, and I had a few questions about some of you may have 'reacted' to anesthesia before. When I woke up from the surgery my heart rate was at 122, so they kept me in recovery until it came down to around 112. My resting rate is usually in the 80s, but right now it is still up at 114 and when I get up to go to the bathroom it hits 120 again.

Did anything like this happen to you?

It has almost been two days since my surgery and my pulse is still a bit high. It palpitates every once in a while. Could this be anxiety? I don't know if I should get it checked.
