I'm back! came off my antidepressants a few months ago and starting to feel down agai

Hi everyone, I came of my antidepressants a few months ago and I'm starting to feel down again. Anyone else came off there antidepressants and felt like that :'( thanks for reading my post

Hang in there. I came off Prozac after four years and, without the crutch of the antidepressant, of course there's going to be a spell where you drop to lower than you were. I was a bit screwed up for months. I think I might have stopped quite quickly too. But your brain chemistry levels back out. I'm sure you'll lift back up again. That's what your brain does. It seems to always try to compensate to level you out

Give it time. Let yourself get used to how things feel without antidepressants again.

Don't see it as "oh no, the depression has come back". That's not what it means.
It's just a bit of temporary instability that's all.

Use exercise and nutrition and enjoyable activities to compensate.
You can lift your mood massively with exercise and music so do them in abundance.

If you're totally off antidepressants try things like 5htp and Rhodiolla.

Plus I guess it's normal to have natural ups and downs anyway. xx
