Breast cancer/Pagets Disease?

So, I have had issues with one nipple being sore off and on for several months. It gets a crust on it every so often (sorry...tmi). I really didn't think much of it until the other day when it started itching. I remembered reading that itching can be a symptom of breast cancer, went to google...and you can imagine what I found.

This only occurs on one nipple...that is the part that is scaring me the most. I'm beside myself today and am crying at the drop of a hat.

I am 38 and I know it is a rare cancer, but I'm sure everyone who has cancer thinks that in the beginning.

Any advice? I am terrified. And today I found white spots on my nipple as well! I've been in tears all day!

You really need to see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis

I can't get into my Ob/gyn for 2 weeks. :/

I'm sorry that you're going through this I can only imagine how stressed/terrified you are. What about going to see your GP?

Since my period started yesterday, my nipples have stopped feeling so sensitive. I did ask a doctor about it and he said that the white spot is a clogged milk duct and has nothing to do with Paget's.

I am still going to see my OB/Gyn and get it checked, but I feel much better about things.
