Post Nasal Drip

So for a few months i've had problems with (what I suspect to be) post nasal drip. It feels like there is a whole lot of fluid pooling up in the back of my throat, and whenever I eat anything my nose will run like crazy. Lately it seems like there is a lot of mucus lining my nose, so much so that it's like my capacity to breathe has reduced. Has anyone else had anything like this? Also the fluid in my throat seems to be catching food on the way down which doesn't help, is this normal?

Yeah that is post nasal drip u can get a steroid nasel spray from the docs

Thanks for the reply! Yeah the doctor gave me a spray like that, doesn't seem to be doing all that much...right now it feels like there is a huge glob of fluid stuck in my throat, it's horrible

Go back to your gp Hun tell them it didn't work there my be a stronger one or he might send u to ent at the hospital.

A nasal drip can be caused by an allergy too, is it permenant or seasonal? It can also be the result of animal fur allergy etc. Might be an idea to have an allergy test to eliminate certain things. My hubby always has to blow his nose when he eats a meal and so does my son-in-law...maybe its a bloke thing as blokes are the ones more likely to snore too!
