skipped beats

hi I'm a 37 year old female and I've had stress test, echo and holter done last August and everything came back ok bar pvcs on holter but my question is that sometimes I can have wat I can only describe as heart going mad for few seconds its like its skipping about 4,5 beats in one go and it scares me . Has anyone else experienced this . Its hard to accept and learn to live with pvcs everyday and try to tell urself its harmless because its terrifying wen it happens. Thanks Ella.x

hi Nicola I have read it and the majority of the time I can relate to it but because my heart went a bit mad it scared me and I couldn't seem to find the thing I described in it. Maybe because I'm scared I'm not seeing what is right in front of my face.. X

Premature beats can alternate with normal beats in between (bigeminy trigeminy, quadgeminy) or even arrive as a pair (couplet) or three or more in a row (run).

You may well be having several in a row sometimes or some other combination. Maybe they caught some on your Holter. It's not usually important so perhaps they didn't mention it.
