Lexapro anyone?

My dr has prescribed me 5mg lexapro to take.
I've spent 15 years suffering health anxiety - I've tried so hard to overcome it and I just can't - it's slowly becoming debilitating and I have a 2 year old so I can't continue like this anymore.
I don't want to go on SSRI's but I feel I have no choice.

Is anyone on this?
How do you feel?

This drug helped me a lot and I am a HA sufferer. I was on 20 mg for over a year and came off because I geeky better. I had a few startup side effects but most passed within a couple weeks.
