OK, I've been on sertraline for almost 4 months. I went up to 75 mg about 3 weeks ago and developed really loud tinnitus. I think it's benefitting my severe generalized anxiety, but now the ear ringing is raising anxiety levels. I'm going back down to 50 mg. Is it time to give up on sertraline after 4 months?

perhaps the tinnitus is a separate thing and nothing to do with sertraline.
I should enquire at the pharmacy or practise nurse (I don't know if this is possible in USA) I had tinnitus a few years ago and it was treated with meds

I had Tinnitus and I wasn't even on Meds. Mine was down to Anxiety. It just went on its own accord.
