    assessment for CBT

    Hi everyone,

just got my appointment through for next Wednesday for pschological [sp] assessment for CBT on the NHS. Have been waiting for this one for a while but glad it has come as it could be a good move. The chap I'm seeing is called - Fred Rabbet!!! Bless, hoping he is a happy bunny [groan groan].

I must have hit the jackpot with the NHS. I've just had this through, got the specialist for my wrist next Friday and got my colonoscopy date!!

    Hiya Tess

So glad to hear you've got your CBT assessment through and it can't be too serious an occasion if the guy has a name like that

Looking forward to hearing how it goes and good luck with your wrist appointment too.

    Lots of love Jo xx

    Hi Tess

At long last it has come through. Wish it had been early i bet but hope it goes well.

Hope it goes well with the specialist next week for your wrist sure it will be fine.

As for colonoscopy date, its a while away and we can deal with that later. March is a long way of and by then you have time to get through all of this. Look at the improvement you have made last few months. with CBT you will be fine and counselling all of us LOL

Keep in touch and i am pleased you have got pychological assessment on Wed.

Let us know how it goes hon.

    Keep in touch.

    Hi everyone,

well I was a little nervous and hadn't slept too well last night but made it to the assessment.

Fred Rabbet is [yes girls you guessed it] gorgeous [^]. Not at all how I had imagined! I had to tell myself to concentrate several times! Well the outcome of the assessment is that he has recommended me for CBT/anxiety management which is just what I wanted. I don't know when it will start yet but I do know it may be in a group and he has nothing to do with it [Sigh...]. Such is life. Anyway I'm really pleased so you are the first to know. I will explain it to hubby after tea and before football [Duh!].

Hope everyone is okay. I'm getting very nervous about flying on Sunday [:I] even though it is only a short flight to Switzerland - mind you all these storms aren't helping!!

    love from Tess xx

Great news then ! Pity the hunk isn't doing the CBT though.

The group one may be good cos you can bounce off each other and you will all have your own ideas. I do hope you are going to plug the site for me - lol.

Thanks for the update - now go and make hubby his tea

We will be thinking of you on the flight.

No Nic he makes the tea!!
Just explained to him about it all and quite happy.

Yes Nic I did plug the site as always and will do in any group. Seriously it is what kept me sane when I was bad [V]. Bought any good air freshners lately? LOL All I can think is it must have been smelly in your house after the meet the other week!
