You think You Feel Silly Sometimes?

I know many have expressed some humiliation when going to the doctor and being dismissed having been told their worry was not at all what they thought. Just so you don't feel so bad....

Yes, I feel very silly most of the time in face.
I even know beforehand that what I'm going to talk about is silly, but my mind goes into overdrive.


This forum is very helpful and at times can be amusing when people put it into perspective.


The time I felt the sillyest...
I went to an out of hours emergency surgery one night, thinking I had appendicitis.
He dismissed it, and I felt silly.
The my mind started making up more symptoms, so I returned the next day (ONLY TO FIND THE VERY SAME DOCTOR).
His first words were.. 'you again?!' and had a little chuckle.
