Upper right Abdominal pain

Hi,

Around an hour ago, I stood up to help a colleague at work and I got a really sharp pain in the top right of my Abdomen (just below my ribs).

Now it hurts if I touch the area, but not If I don't touch it.

Please can someone help me? Does it sound like something serious?

I'm booking an appointment with the doctor later, but I'm scared and panicky, I just need some reassurance until then.

Sounds like you pulled something. Pretty sure that's what the doc will say.

Haha, that actually made me laugh.

Sorry, been going through another rough patch and the slightest thing is worrying me.

I'm going for the appointment for a follow up for something else, so I will bring this up also.
