    Bleeding during smear

    Hello,

I have had a little bit of bleeding after sex recently so went to see a lovely consultant at a sexual health clinic (purely cause they do evening appointments and I didn't want to take time off to see a gp).
I'm only 24 but she said we'd do a smear early due to the bleeding - she had a look and feel and said it looked fine but there was some bleeding during the test.
She called it a 'spot' - looked like loads to me (more than during sex).
She also told me she was 'sure' it was fine and mentioned cervical erosion - I'm so worried I'm going to have abnormal results and after having months of tests on my tummy and loads of bloods its the last thing I need.

Has anyone else bled during a smear? How quick were your results?

On a brighter note - what I thought was a new hip bone/tumour she said is most probably tendons forming round a weak hip ... she would tell me if she thought it was cancer wouldn't she?

    xx
